Alexandre Bilodeau is a Partner and Co-Founder of A2 Partners, a private equity firm specializing in lower mid-market companies in Eastern Canada. A2 Partners builds strong partnerships with management teams to pursue growth opportunities and help businesses achieve their full potential through a hands-on and strategic approach.
Before founding A2 Partners, Alexandre was an investment professional at Walter Capital Partners, where he was involved in evaluating acquisitions, conducting due diligence, and managing portfolio companies. He also held positions at KPMG, first as an audit advisor, then as a senior advisor in transaction services, working on numerous buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
Prior to his career in finance, Alexandre was a world-class freestyle skier. During his nine years on the World Cup circuit, he won multiple world championship titles. He made history in Canadian sports by winning two Olympic gold medals, first at the 2010 Vancouver Games and again at the 2014 Sochi Games.
Alexandre holds a graduate diploma (DESS) in accounting from HEC Montréal, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
